A typescript letter, signed, from Mick Jagger to the NME on The Rolling Stones, 46a Maddox Street, London W1.. headed stationery, [n.d. but circa 1969] the letter in the form of a press statement on behalf of The Rolling Stones refuting press reports that their fortune from records alone amounted to £83,000,000, Jagger comments: ...the sum mentioned is ludicrous; in our opinion it most probably exceeds the collective recording earnings of the Beatles, Elvis Presley, ourselves and others.. signed Mick Jagger 1p.
