etching, 1888, on laid paper watermark B, presumably an unrecorded sixth (final) state (after the lower right window pane is completely shaded), signed with the butterfly and annotated 'imp' in pencil on the tab, annotated on the reverse a backwards 'C', 'C' and 'L' vertically at lower center, the full sheet, a 1 x 1-in. skillfully repaired loss at lower left, a few pale foxmarks, tiny short tears in places along the sheet edges, otherwise in good condition, framed
