Accompanied by Patek Philippe Certificate of Origin dated 23 December 1983 and Extract from the Archives confirming manufacture of this watch in 1980 and its subsequent sale on 18 December 1981.

Purchased by the present owner at one of Patek Philippe's retailers in Switzerland in 1983, it has never been offered in public before.

The celebrated Nautilus model, reference 3700/1, was launched in 1976 and is described and illustrated in Patek Philippe Wristwatches by Martin Huber & Alan Banbery, second edition, p. 231.
