A FINE SILVER TORAH POINTER (YAD)
Amsterdam, maker's mark of S.C.H. Warneke (Citroen 158), 1801
The tapering hexagonal handle inscribed in Hebrew: "CH(evrah) K(adisha) de-Gemilut Chasadim", and dated in Hebrew 1802, surmounted by a spherical knop fitted with a ring and a hook. The hook with maker's mark of Anton Hendrik Paap (1755-1816). The other end with tapering cylindrical knopped stem terminating in a hand with bent pointing index finger - 23.7cm long (72gr)
