Buster Keaton
A straw boater hat trimmed with a brown grosgrain ribbon, labelled inside Adam, First Name In Hats, in a hat box with paper label printed Exclusive Model Buster Keaton Hat for Aggie Underwood -- given by Buster Keaton to Los Angeles journalist Agness Underwood in 1956; accompanied by a letter from Buster Keaton giving the hat to Agness, the typescript letter on Paramount Pictures Corporation headed stationery, dated 28 June, 1956, from Donald O' Connor and Buster Keaton to Agness, the letter telling her You're in the act. This hat is yours until the wind blows it under a truck. Or someone lifts it in a restaurant. But now that you're in the Keaton family act, you'll have to quit smiling. Don't know why it is, but it takes a frozen face to look good under a flat hat. Try it in your mirror, and see. Or wear it over to Paramount during the weeks to come, where we're making the "Buster Keaton Story" and see if it will get you past the gateman. Wanna bet? This is no laughing matter..., signed Donald and Buster (3)
