THE GREAT FRENCH CHEMIST WHO IDENTIFIED ANTHRAX. An attractive oval half-length portrait of the eminent chemist and microbiologist, in a double-breasted suit and tie. It is dated two years before the establishment of the famed Institut Pasteur, which continued his attractive pioneering work in bacteriology and inoculation.
