Each scroll inscribed and signed, with a total of nine seals of the artist
Note: Wang Kangle worked as a designer in the Images Department of the Shanghai Commerical Press from 1924 to 1932. He later studied landscape painting with Huang Binhong, Zheng Wuchang and Zhang Daqian. In 1952, he began to lecture at the Shanghai People's Fine Arts Publishing House and the Shanghai Fine Arts College. He held solo exhibitions in Hong Kong, Singapore and New York.
