FIRST EDITION, FIRST STATE, INSCRIBED BY FROST with a line from his poem "West-Running Brook" on the title-page: "As if regret were in it and were sacred. Robert Frost" with Frost's pencilled notation underneath indicating where the quote can be found in the text: "middle of p. 37." Crane A10.
