A waterline travel agents model of the R.M.S. Queen Elizabeth
Art Model Studios, Mt. Vernon, NY; circa 1950
built up in wood with a painted red waterline, white boot stripe and black and white topsides with applied, painted brass port holes, applied decal windows and name boards, and anchors, tan painted decks fitted with jack staff, bollards, deck railings, anchor windlass, cargo hatches, ladders, fore and aft masts, bridge and bridge wings, ventilators, life boats on davits, funnels painted in Cuard livery, skylights, docking bridge and other details. On a painted blue base with white trim and "Cunard White Star" in red decals on either side.
