a lapstrake mahogany hull built up over a series of frames, held together with copper pins, rubbing strake just below the gunwhale, the interior detailed with seat thwarts, mast step, partner and chain plates, centerboard box, oarsman's foot rests, floorboards, a brass stem plate with sprit [later], and a brass rudder [later], and other details.
