A GERMAN HALBERD, IN 15TH CENTURY STYLE
19th Century
With flat angular blade with straight cutting edge, two-stage central spike changing to stiff-diamond section at the point, the rear fluke of similar construction, struck with a mark on one side, and with rectangular socket extending to form a pair of long iron straps: on an octagonal wooden haft.
