Two Iron-decorated Porcelain Figurines
Choson period (16th-17th century)
One in the form of a miniature horse modelled with a saddle and whimsically decorated with dots and splashes of underglaze iron and applied with a blue-tinged clear glaze; the other in the form of a standing figure painted in underglaze iron with a band of hair extending from ear to ear and with facial details, the nose modelled as a triangle, also applied with a clear glaze
