Tibet, 15th Century
Seated in lalitasana on a double lotus base, her left hand raised in vitarka mudra and her right lowered in varada mudra, wearing a diaphanous dhoti incised with flowers, necklaces, armlets and foliate tiara inset with hardstones, the reverse showing the knotted ends of her necklaces, the base sealed, gilt and incised with the character "om" in a lotus
