A PAIR OF WILLIAM IV ORMOLU WINE-COOLERS
CIRCA 1830
Each with ruffled, shell-cast rim above a beaded border, the scalloped edges cast with flower garlands above a campana form body with an applied coat-of-arms for Foley of Prestwood within a floral spray cartouche and flanked by double entwined grapevine handles united by pierced chased grape vines with grape clusters and continuing to a vine form socle, raised on a flowerhead cast shaped base

Probably supplied to Edward Thomas Foley (1791-1846) of Stoke Edith, Herefordshire or his brother, John Hodgetts Foley (later Hodgetts-Foley) (1797-1861) of Prestwood, Staffordshire.
