Finely painted after P. Thumann with a Greek artisan highlighting a black figure on a vase as an admiring companion looks on from the threshold of an open doorway, two unfinished vessels at the right
12¾ x 10 in. (32.4 x 25.4 cm.), within a burgundy velvet and giltwood frame
