marked Fabergé, workmaster's mark of August Hollming, St. Petersburg, 1908-1917
Oblong with rounded corners, each side enamelled in translucent purple over a sunburst ground within waved borders, the centre of the cover applied with a diamond-set Imperial double-headed eagle on translucent oyster enamel over radiating ground, within a chased and engraved laurel lozenge, with diamond push-piece, marked inside cover and base
