CIRCA 3RD-4TH CENTURY A.D.
The broad hoop flat on the interior, rounded on the exterior, expanding to the shoulders, the surface embellished with filigree spirals interspersed with granulation, a ribbon framing the oval bezel, set with an earlier Roman convex oval stone, circa 1st-2nd century A.D., engraved with a draped goddess, probably Nemesis, her head turned frontal, holding the hem of her garment in her lowered hand, a blossom in her raised hand
