A VICTORIAN SILVER HEART-SHAPED DRESSING TABLE MIRROR,
MARK OF WILLIAM COMYNS, LONDON, 1894,
The pierced frame backed in mid-blue velvet, the top with monogrammed cartouche flanked by putti supporters, the design of scrollwork, masks, flowers and foliage with cherubs and pan-putto within, bevelled mirror glass, hinged strut to navy blue fabric-covered back, 17¼ in. high (44 cm.).
