The Sea Wolf was the film adaption of Jack London's novel of the same name. Edward G. Robinson played the tyrannical Captain Wolf Larsen who helmed a seal-hunting ship The Ghost. Directed by Michael Curtiz and co-starring Ida Lupino and John Garfield this action movie was the first film to have its world première on a ship, the luxurious line 'America' during a trip from San Francisco to Los Angeles.
