The top with hexagonal brass urn finials above a rectangular hood with glazed side panels and glazed front door, the 25.5 cm. (10 1/4 in.) square brass dial with engraved border, matted and foliate engraved centre, foliate cast female mask spandrels to the silvered Roman chapter ring with sword-hilt half hour markers and signed Wesfel Dikom Amfterdam, later pierced blued single steel hand and engraved silvered alarm disc, the thirty-hour movement with four pinned ring turned baluster pillars, anchor escapement, countwheel strike on bell above, the alarm work mounted to the side of the movement; three brass weights, pendulum
