19TH CENTURY, BLUE CROSSED SWORDS AND INCISED NUMERALS
After an 18th century model by J.J.Kändler, formed as a seated gentleman with an attendant holding a shade, the inkpot, cover and sander modelled as two kneeling children, the box and cover modelled as a melon, on a common rococo scroll-moulded base painted with flowers
The stand 13½ in (34.3 cm) wide
