Alain Silberstein created the "Tourbillon Krono" circa 1997 to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the founding of his famed watch company in Besançon, France. This unique wristwatch is the first chronograph wristwatch whereby the toubillon feature was visible through both the dial and the sapphire crystal display back. Silberstein and his team of watchmakers were able to achieve this mechanical feat by creating a smaller tourbillon rotating frame for the watch compared to its predecessors.
