With engraved brass front fret and plain side frets, brass side doors, iron back plate and hoop, with spurs on a (possibly later) crossbar, the thistle and tulip engraved dial plate signed Edw.d Norris/London, the later? Roman chapter ring with trident half hour markers, later brass alarm setting-disc (covering part of the signature and engraving), single steel hand, the short duration movement with verge escapment, going train to the front, striking train to the centre, the re-instated alarm work positioned in front of the backplate with countwheel strike on bell above via alarm hammer to the rear, some alterations; three lead weights
