A GROUP OF NEOLITHIC STONE, FLAKED FLINT AND BONE AXE, ARROW-HEADS AND IMPLEMENTS

Including a large fine grained grey stone axe-hammer with curved butt and convex sides, 7½ in. (19 cm.) long; another smaller of polished dark grey-green stone, 4¼ in. (10.8 cm.) long; two others with lozenge-shaped outline and circular butt, 5 in. (12.7 cm.) long max.; five axe heads, four smaller of polished stone, 1 3/8 to 3¾ in. (3.5 to 9.5 cm.) long; a bone point, 4½ in. (11.4 cm.) long; and seven flint arrow-heads, 1 5/8 in. (4.1 cm.) long max. (a lot)
Provenance
German private collection, formed during the 1960s-1970s.

Item two: with ink inscription reading "Litzelstetten", Germany.
Item ten: with ink inscribed label reading "Sipplingen", Germany.
Arrow-heads: some with labels giving German find spots.
