A Satsuma vase, signed Shuzan, Meiji Period (1868-1912)
decorated in colourful enamels and gilt, with two panels depicting hanami, flower viewing scenes by a river, one with Mount Fuji towering in the background, the whole on a dark blue ground and gilt with stylised floral and wave designs, similar band to the neck, signed below a Shimazu mon -- 12 3/8in. (31.5cm.) high.
