LONDON SILVER HALLMARKS FOR 1762
Silver maker's mark A.K, with Colichemarde blade with traces of etching (rust patches), fine silver boatshell hilt cast in low relief, the guard, quillon-block and pommel all decorated with pierced bold designs of martial trophies involving a series of monsters and mythical beasts, raised faceted borders, and the grip retaining its original patterned binding of silver wire and ribband, in its original leather scabbard with silver locket en-suite (scabbard damaged, middle-band associated, the chape missing).
