Designed as a graduated fringe of fleur-de-lys with pearl terminals to a line of diamond collets with foliate spacers to the diamond back chain, mounted in silver and gold, with later tiara fitting, pearls untested, circa 1870, 38.0 cm long, with French assay marks for gold, in original fitted silk-lined purple velvet case

Provenance
Lady Collins (1919-2006), daughter of Rear Admiral Sir Arthur Bromley, 8th Bt, KCMG, and Laura Maye Dunsmuir. She married in 1940 Richard Hanbury-Tracy, 6th Lord Sudeley, who was killed in action in 1941. In 1965 she married Major Arthur Collins, who was knighted in 1980 and died in 2000.
