Ackermann, 1813. 4°, 15 wood-engraved vignettes by Nesbit and Thurston (occasional light soiling), polished calf gilt by Riviere, ruled and roll-tool borders, ornate gilt spine with morocco label, top edge gilt, others uncut (corners a little bumped). Provenance: John Croft Deverell (bookplate).
Intended to be a companion volume to The Chase, printed by Bulmer at the Shakespeare Press in 1796 with illustrations by Bewick. In the preface Ackermann claims that Bewick "could never have equalled, by his mode of engraving, what Nesbit and Thurston have done in this volume".
