Lot Essay

The firm Maison Krieger of the Faubourg Saint-Antoine was established in 1856 by Antoine Krieger. It was consolidated around 1880 by Damon & Cie. (see D. Ledoux-Lebard, Le Mobilier Francais du XIX Siecle Paris 1989, pp.396-7).
