Designed in gold takamaki-e and inlaid mother-of-pearl against a kinji ground with a heron perched on a rock in waves, the reverse with reeds along a shoreline, the interiors fundame; fitted with a red-lacquer ojime and double-gourd netsuke carved in tsuishu style with scholars in a landscape
