EINSTEIN, Albert (1879-1955). Autograph letter signed ('Papa') to his elder son, Hans Albert, n.p., n.d. [24 September 1927], enclosing a letter from Siemens (which asks Hans Albert to fill in a questionnaire and CV), communicating the additional information gained from Dr Schottki that engineers are being sought for concrete constructions, and suggesting that Hans Albert apply and ask one of his teachers to recommend him, half page, 8vo, envelope; with the letter from Siemens, 22 September 1927. Hans Albert had graduated from his father's alma mater, the Federal Polytechnic Institute in Zurich, as doctor of technical sciences earlier in the year. He found a job as a steel engineer in Dortmund later in 1927. (3)
