A kakemono, early 19th century
painted in sumi, gofun and colour on paper, depicting an eagle tethered to a perch adorned with a mon, the bird with its head slightly lowered and beak open -- 42¾in. x 19¼in. (108.6cm. x 48.9cm.), with two seals, wood box with description of painting inscribed on the cover.
