by Schaff and Sons, St. Petersburg, with the Imperial warrant
With gilt fittings, the folding guard plate engraved with the Russian inscription 'Kamer Page Prince V. N. Orlov 1888-1889, the top of the scabbard engraved with the coat of arms of the Prince Orlov's family, the steel blade engraved FAB de TOLEDO and dated 1873

Provenance
The present sword belonged to Prince Vladimir Nikolaevich Orlov Kamer Page from November 11th, 1888 and served later in the Horse Guards Regiment.
