A COLLECTION OF LEAVES FROM DECORATED OR ILLUMINATED MANUSCRIPTS ON VELLUM OR PAPER, comprising: a leaf from a Psalter, [Germany, early 13th century], 225 x 153mm, with two burnished gold initials with blue, green and red decoration, with text from Psalms 42 and 43; three leaves from 13th-century bibles, one with burnished gold initial (and an initial excised); a leaf from a Book of Hours [France, 15th century], 122 x 93mm, initials in burnished gold with black penwork decoration; a leaf from an Armenian manuscript on paper [early 18th century], 380 x 255mm, written in a bolorgir hand, with headpiece and initial in wash; and three others. Together with: a leaf from the Ninth German Bible, Nuremberg: Anton Koberger, 1483 with contemporary hand-coloured woodcut, and another printed leaf. All mounted on card, some WITH LABELS OF OTTO F.
