The Senators, from the Triumph of Julius Caesar (Bartsch 11)
engraving, circa 1495, on laid paper, a good but slightly later impression of this extremely rare print, trimmed to or just outside the borderline, a 80 mm. vertical tear at the left sheet edge, a central horizontal fold and three central vertical folds with associate repaired tears at the top and bottom of the sheet, two diagonal creases at the left and right sheet edges, a 10 mm. paper loss at the upper sheet edge at centre, other minor defects
