AN INCISED CELADON DRAGON DISH, YONGZHENG/QIANLONG (1723-1795)
decorated with confronting dragons chasing flaming pearls amongst thunderbolts, all covered with a pale green glaze with a brown edging to the rim, Jing wei tang zhi 'Hall of Respectful Awe' four character underglaze blue mark to base on a white glaze -- 6½in. (16.5cm.) diam.
Provenance
From an English private collection acquired in China during the 1940's.
