Lot Essay

This drawing is one of the variants for the illustration to Pigling Bland. Aunt Pettitoes' family consisted of four girl piglets called Cross-patch, Suck-suck, Yock-yock and Spot, and four boy piglets whose names were Alexander, Pigling Bland, Chin-chin and Stumpy.
