A wide range of gifts bearing the state emblems of the Imperial eagle, crown, and cap of the Monomakh, was presented by the Cabinet of His Imperial Highness to Russian subjects and foreigners alike. Such gifts, which were often adorned with small precious stones, included cufflinks, cigarette cases, tie pins, brooches, bracelets and watches.
