2 vols quarto (253 x 180mm) and 1 vol. folio (290 x 405mm). Printed vols: 68 and 27 black and white photographs, some printed on coloured paper. Original photo-illustrated or silkscreened card covers (the front hinge of vol. 1 a little weak; vol. 2 lightly rubbed near the spine). Portfolio: 11 gelatin silver and 2 photo-mechanical prints (160-305 x 240-258mm or reverse). (Occasional light wear.) One credited in the negative, one stamped on the verso, the others signed in ink or pencil mostly on the verso. Original grey card portfolio, front cover printed recto and verso (some wear and spotting, lacking ties).
FIRST EDITIONS, WITH THE RARE PORTFOLIO. BOTH PRINTED VOLUMES SIGNED BY CO-FOUNDER DAIDO MORIYAMA. The porfolio was published to accompany the second Workshop group exhibition, held at Ginza Canon Salon in 1976. The portfolio was published in an edition of 50 copies or less, but more likely to be 20 or 30 copies only. It includes prints by Moriyama, Seiji Kurata, Koichi Tokunaga, Osamu Takizawa, and others. Neither ABPC nor WorldCat record any copies of the portfolio. (3)
