A SUPERBLY CARVED WHITE JADE MOONFLASK AND COVER
QIANLONG PERIOD (1736-1795)

Well carved in low relief on each of the broad sides with an archaistic design of intertwined dragon and phoenix scroll surrounding a shou medallion, flanked by a pair of elephant-head and loose ring handles, the matching cover carved with similar archaistic scroll below a separately made knop with rope twist border and hollowed on top, the stone of even pale greenish-white colour
