Das Anfang der 1880er Jahre entstandene Landschaftsgemälde Weiden am Genfersee gibt den Blick aus der Umgebung von Pully bei Lausanne in Richtung Südwesten auf den Genfersee wieder. Eine in der gleichen Zeit gemalte hochformatige Version dieser Ansicht, auf der zusätzlich ein am Wasser sitzendes Kind auszumachen ist, befindet sich im Kunstmuseum Winterthur.

Developed at the beginning of the 1880s, the landscape painting, Weiden am Genfersee, shows the view from the vicinity of Pully near Lausanne toward the southwest on Lake Geneva. Painted during the same time, a portrait-format version of this view, which additionally includes a child sitting at the water, is in the Kunstmuseum Winterthur.
