Lot Essay

The Glade shows the gardens of Dunshay Manor in autumn with the house just out of view to the right, and is the same setting used by Watson for Dunshay from the lower lawn (lot 90) Mary in the Gardens at Dunshay (Drat them goats!), lot 118 at Christie's, King Street, 16 June, 2010.
