The circular hinged top set to inside and out with a mirror plate and enclosing an intricately fitted interior with compartments, secret wells and a variety of cut-glass, ivory, bone and mother-of-pearl sewing tools, the central pop-up compartment with mirrored architectural façade and side drawers, the base decorated with foliate swags, on downswept supports joined by a pierced basket and terminating in ball feet
