A CARVED RED LACQUER TWO-TIER BOX AND COVER
QIANLONG SIX-CHARACTER INCISED AND GILDED MARK AND OF THE PERIOD (1736-1795)
Well and deeply carved on the cover with two five-clawed dragons confronted around a flaming pearl and reserved on a ground of crashing waves, framed by rope-twist and knotted borders, the sides of the cover carved with four quatrefoil reserves framing diaper bands and wan emblems reserved on a similar diaper ground, repeated on the sides of each tier, the interior of the cover incised with the characters, shuang long bao he (double dragon treasure box)
