LATE 19TH/EARLY 20TH CENTURY, SIGNED GUILLON
Each of baluster form surmounted by a gadrooned lid with a pine cone finial, above a fluted neck and tapering body, on one painted after Antoine-Jean Gros with a scene depicting the meeting of Napoleon I and Emperor Franz II after Austerlitz, December 4 1805, and on the other painted after Nicolas Louis Gosse with a scene depicting Napoleon receiving the Queen of Prussia at Tilsitt, July 6 1807, within raised gilt surrounds, the reverse of each painted with a view of a château, on a spreading gilt-inscribed socle and canted square base
