Comprising the 3rd juz', Arabic manuscript on buff paper, 23ff. plus 2 fly-leaves, each folio with 7ll. of large delicate naskh in alternating black and gold, gold and polychrome roundels marking the end of each verse, sura headings in gold within cartouches of gold and polychrome illumination, text panels within gold and polychrome rules, marginal medallions in gold and polychrome, opening folio with gold and polychrome illuminated headpiece, some staining and creasing mainly affecting the margins, in original Safavid brown morocco with flap with large panel of stamped and tooled gilded decoration, the doublure at the end of the manuscript with gilded decoupé arabesque spandrels and central medallion over blue, green and red panels
