Lot Essay

With Patek Philippe original fitted blue presentation box and Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch with enamel dial and Breguet numerals in 1891 and its subsequent sale on 29 May 1893. The Extract further mentions the dark blue enamel case back and the oval cartouche.
