Lot Essay

This model of a Russisches Windspiel was first modelled by J.J. Kändler in 1766. For another example in the Dresden Schloß, see Carl Albiker, Die Meissner Porzellantiere im 18. Jahrhundert, Berlin, 1959, no. 179.
