Lot Essay

In his inscription, Huang Binhong describes the experience of climbing to the famous lookout point at Lianhua Peak in the Yellow Mountains. This travel sketch and personal commentary strongly resemble others by Huang Binhong published by Rongbaozhai in 1987 and entitled, Shanshui Bufen, Huang Binhong hui (Landscape Details, Painted by Huang Binhong).
