Colin a exposé au Salon entre 1899 et 1914. Nous connaissons deux exemplaires de ce modèle représentant le soldat Marathon en train de mourir, l'un conservé au musée Bar-le-Duc et l'autre à l'Hôtel de Ville de Paris.
